Is this an official model? Is it legit anyway or again AI?

It may not be AI, but even if something isn't AI doesn't mean it is "legit".

We've seen a variety of models which look vaguely official with a shipyard label on it but that doesn't mean they're all real.



Ultimately a picture alone is unlikely going to tell us if something is credible/reflective of what a ship will actually look like, but instead it will be if there is any indicators/noise from the Chinese language side. And if there is no noise, then it means we should probably just "acknowledge, but ignore".

Do we know for certain the Dalian carrier currently under construction now is a nuclear one? Because the pic above says Dalian, so unless the one currently being built is actually the modified conventional one, or they've decided to build the modified conventional one AFTER the current nuclear one (?), or this pic is not legit.

Also they either raised the bridge and therefore the front PAR panels, or they lowered the rear ones.

We've already seen plenty of satellite imagery of that particular drydock at Dalian with two marine nuclear reactor containment boxes resembling those on the American CVNs by now.

I don't see how that's still debatable by this point.

That’s just a custom mod based on existing commercial kits. No Chinese manufacturers are actually selling a real J-15T yet.
