Just posted on X. Presumably this has to do with the hints in recent period about reactor pressure vessels arriving, and/or the hints about irrefutable proof of a CVN etc.?

Once we see the reactor module placed down we can say with certainty that this is a CVN, we should in theory see the reactor getting placed down soon since according to the illustration the module should be at the very bottom of the hull.

Also, this picture posted in the comment section:

Supposedly of the mock reactor

can you post a screenshot instead of the link? Don't think the image can be accessed without an account on that forum.

NGL nothing much to see but it does show a 701st engineer so potentially legit, also Captain did also comment this when someone ask what is this:

Another photo.

According to @二三里外 (who posted both these photos in the comment section of @Captain小潇's Weibo post), these 2 photos are from a 八股文 article by the 701st Institute, and the work is likely reaching the closing stage (收尾阶段).

I put my hopes on these 3 things on large transporters in the middle of a road. May be it's just nothing important but after 42 days since the 2nd module was spotted, something has to go into the dry dock.

Either the drydock is for two boats or maybe the discontinuity in the middle is due to where the reactor module will go which makes sense since its to the stern of the boat assuming its one big boat. So the holdup could potentially be just the fact that they are running last minute checks on the reactor module before installing it. Also from the last picture posted by Captain it seems that the reactor module is pretty large so I guess it'll be pretty obvious once they place it on the keel.

Since steam engines are rare nowadays for commercial ships, the yet to be build new ships that used steam boilers in their propulsion are likely to be military ships. They are either just steam powered or nuclear powered that has steam boilers connected to the drive shafts or to power electric motors.

Nah, that phrase should say 防护用品 which means safety equipment. The lower part of the character is cut off but you could catch a glimpse of the character in front

I see. In this case, there is nothing pointed to a possible nuclear powered propulsion in this photo, except the words of the original poster.

We still need more convincing "evidence", may be more clear satellite photos.
