They'll probably just get one of the remaining Rafales and repaint the tail number.
its impossible because Every procurement, inventory change, repair, and maintenance activity is subject to audits and extensive documentation. There are records for every asset, and citizens can also seek information from the government through the Right to Information (RTI) Act

This is an official Indian Air Force (IAF) document seeking bridge support from Safran for the entire fleet of 36 Rafale jets currently in service. If any Rafale aircraft had been lost during Operation Sindoor, why would the IAF be issuing a tender for bridge support covering all 36 Rafales?
You do know that a tender in and of itself doesn’t really mean much and is not binding on either party. Plus prior to actual acceptance things can always be changed. Further depending on the stipulations the numbers can always be changed even after acceptance.

So again “we investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong”

And the indian government, particularly with the BJP, has never lied or falsified information in the history of ever.

LMFAO. You're operating under the extremely naive assumption that Indian nationals asserting their supposed rights under the Right to Information Act aren't silenced with violence for asking the "wrong questions" . . . :D

So surely this mean it should be trivial to prove that pakistan was bullshitting about those 4 rafales, right?

Ah yes, completely change basically the entire jet, surely that is doable for a country that can't even make a light fighter correctly
Better than nothing. Underpowered engine is always the issue. Stick two smaller ones and atleast you have something to work with.

Except Pakistan welcomed outside countries to count all their fighters - F-16, JF-17, J-10 and India refused.

India's own Minister Subramanian Swamy is on record admitting Rafale(s) were shot down during May 2025.

Videos and photos of BS001, M88 engine, Rafale parts and missiles in wrecks all on record. This was before generative AI was a thing. All those visual evidence anyway can't be generated to that degree by AI even today. Every blade of grass and dirt particle is visible to a degree beyond AI's capability today. Not to mention all the spectators speaking in Hindi and France admitting at least one Rafale shot down.

All that but Indian bhakts deny. Who cares though. Reality is you guys have 3 to 4 fewer Rafales. Someone has to pay that tax.

If Indians are happy their $100M+ fighters are being shot down so easily while they pretend nothings wrong. Who cares?

Why not integrate the RD-33 into the Tejas? Having engine options is normal, even the USA has done so with P&W and GE for the F-16.
Apparently they are no facing with rapidly increasing pricetags for the F404 and the F414. C'mon guys, do as the Americans do, not what they say.
