don't believe this has been shared before. A procurement document for a training simulator for the KJ-600 indicates that it has four operator consoles, which is one more than the E-2.
It makes sense in the context of probably being a larger more modern design. The E-2 base design will turn 70 in 2030, for perspective is like keeping Sopwith Camels in service in the 1980's.

I must admit, I love the low-visibility markings on no. 7105 more than the red/yellow high-visibility markings on no. 7106.
Frankly wonder what's their point on non-vlo support/naval aircraft.
Same with milcamo on naval personnel, th only thing they're seriously going to "help" with is complicate salvage/rescue efforts.

I am pretty sure that the yellow-red strips are markings of parade only, also seen in earlier parade such as Y-20 and J-15 in 2019 parade.

I think the markings on 7105 are yellow-red too, the photo was certainly PSed by color filter (blue or green), so yellow/red spectrum turns gray. It is like underwater photos being green/bluish.
