Not enough gold to feasibly return to a Gold Standard. A Bimetal Standard may be possible with Silver especially since it’s more plentiful and .

Some think that the ruling whites are doing the classic divide and conquer among Asians vs Blacks. There is some evidence as Racist Florida Governor (anti-china) Desantis pass laws to ban some black history but pass law to teach asian american history.
If you look around reddit and various social media sites, seems the "grunts" are only in the military to try to escape their rural homes/poverty but generally hate being "in" and hate the officer corps. Probably diffrent experience if you go in as an officer post college being a paper pusher though
