TLDR: they had 600 ice cream to give away over the 2 days, they gave away about 300 on 18th. The claim is a small amount of the ice cream are set aside for staff and the 4-5 foreign looking people are staff and not random people.

Anna Bareback is talking badly about China anyways so maybe BMW's China market share will be the price for Germany to pay. There are plenty of Chinese luxury EV companies that are more deserving of those profits anyways.
People advocating for 'euroatlantic bond to the grave' and people doing business in China are typically the opposite camps.
Public outcry will hurt enough in any case, esp. in current ultra-competitive climate.
