I mentioned before how there was a change in narrative by the Electric Viking. First he just stopped talking about Chinese EV developments for a while. Now he posts videos like that BYD cars are exploding in China. What about everyone else's outside of China if that were happening? He use to talk about how bad and how South Korean batteries are notorious for catching fire. I bet the South Koreans didn't like that. The guy is trying to raise money for his wife's cancer treatment... That's what happens on YouTube. People get famous. People get influenced by money.

so Huawei also unveiled the AITO M9

HW did a lot of trash talking today. I'm not sure it's a good idea. While it does have a great smart cockpit product (possibly best in the industry), but in terms of driving/handling and off road capability, it remains to be seen how well it compares to something like LiAuto L9

also Huawei said that the biggest problem with AITO M5 is in its high cost of production. It's definitely going for the high end market with this push about its premium quality, but the problem is that Seres is doing its manufacturing. HW is basically putting luxury interior onto an OEM that's only capable of medium quality hardware.

looks like Vale, Ford & Huayou partnership in Indonesia are expanding to include VW now?

Good for Indonesia. It's policy of forcing companies to refine nickel is clearing bringing industrialization.

Also, Baidu is coming out with new Apollo ADAS that will be using chip from Black Sesame, they can claim all domestic cockpit solution

Baidu Apollo also coming out with its own version of ADAS for mass market. Looks even better than the Huawei ADAS. Which again makes me question Huawei's insistence on controlling the entire process. Other automakers are not going to like it and they have other ADAS solutions out there like Baidu, DJI and Didi
