Another anti-China EU politician plans to visit China. Between Ursula von der Leyen and Annalena Baerbock, I don't know which one is more insane. If I had a say, I would send them packing before the plane touches down.
Eh, von der Leyen is basically a US spy though.Heard a crazy conspiracy theory just now:
Suppose EU and China want to suddenly ditch the dollar and switch to trading with their own currencies ala Brazil, in a "En tu, Brute?" moment.
Who will need to visit Beijing and talk to Xi to make this happen?
Anyone else? Baerbock isn't really required but would be useful if you want to conduct this grand conspiracy.
- Scholz (he's already been)
- Macron (on the way)
- von der Leyen (on the way)
- Pedro Sánchez (on the way)
- Giorgia Meloni (on the way in May)
- Charles Michel
- Josep Borrell
Seems unlikely but crazier things have happened in history.
Does Europe want another Kosovo war? Cause that's how you start another war in Europe.Heard a crazy conspiracy theory just now:

If you're US and you see all these characters all in rapid succession travel to a place where whatever is discussed behind close doors cannot be discovered by you by any means, would you be nervous?Eh, von der Leyen is basically a US spy though.
So likely won't happen if she gets to know about that arrangement/plans.

Volkswagen CEO finds no evidence of Xinjiang forced labor claims:
I mean, if you saw how New Yorkers complain about MTA, and how their own corrupt idiot of a politicianIt's a pretty low bar comparing it to YRT, don't you think? I don't see Vaughan on that list![]()
BLUF: auto-oriented suburbanization makes makes private automobile viable at the expense of everything else.My main gripe with the TTC is that the subway doesn't go to most of the attractions in the city.
Chinatown? CNE? The Zoo? Science Centre? Forget about it! Even the frickin CN Tower is a 15 minute walk away from the nearest subway station!
People complain about the bus/streetcar service because they can't take the subway to get where they need to go!
Writing was on the wall when in 2021 the US propaganda machine ran this piece:I gotta say when you look back to 2021, Biden's team- really, Blinken, Sullivan et al- really fumbled the ball when it came to China. All they had to do was at least go back to the era pre Trump and they would've had a softer landing compared to the brick wall that's coming for them.
"WhenHe has filled his administration with capable, decent men and women who have ascended together through the ranks of the foreign policy establishment and generally share its assumptions. They’re the best of what Mr. Rhodes famously called “the Blob,” the bipartisan, Washington-based, foreign policy elite that believes maintaining the United States’ global dominance is essential to ensuring American safety and international peace.
