Reinstalled Tiktok to watch videos of people complaining about the Tiktok ban. Those are surprisingly insightful and well researched and I felt that I actually gained a couple of brain cells watching them.
this is why they're banning it.
Since I am old fashioned, I used the traditional American view about the right and left, and that guy is most definitely on the left.

In American politics, the right wing was really defined by three points

fiscal conservatives
religious conservatives
social conservative

On the first one, the Republicans still want lower budgets and tax cuts. Not all Republicans, but that is the party that still believes in smaller government and tax cuts. Imagine a Democrat campaigning on tax cuts.

On the second one, it is the Bible Belt, and they are red states right.

On the third one, everyone is gay!

Including Biden.
There are indeed 3 factions, but you missed one. The social religious conservatives are 1 faction. The one you missed is the neoconservative imperialist faction. They are OK with high fiscal spending or social liberalism for the military. Nothing else. They're conservative on everything, but not the military. And if it requires holding their noses and using LGBT or minorities as a tool to poke the big bads, they'll do it.

That's why they can crack down on women, minorities and LGBT rights at home while saying other countries have no women's rights, oppress minorities and don't support LGBT without even flinching. The ideology is simple: power above all. No logic? Ok, what are you gonna do about it? We create our own reality - Ka.rl Ro.ve.

How is this Putin's fault? Please walk me through your logic.
Should have clarified. Putin insisted on China accepting India in SCO as a return for letting Pakistan to join it, due to Putin wanting to "balance" China's influence lmfao

As I have said a lot of times, Putin is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Unfortunately though, China has to pay for his stupidity with having India playing its stupid games and acting as a US saboteur in SCO

If India was not in SCO, I think it would be tempted to even go further align with the west. Being in SCO gives opputunity for India / CHina relationship to improve

Pakistan is a complex case, there are factions absolutely loyal to the CIA, factions leaning towards China. Then there is also the military which historically has close relations to China. Unfortunately though, Pakistan's real master is the CIA, but even if that's the case, its power to steer Pakistan against China are heavily resisted by localities in Pakistan and even the military itself which felt that IK was too close to China the past years.

Basically, yes, as shown by the coup, Pakistan daddy is the CIA, but there is huge internal resistance against these crooks. And even these crooks don't want to be against China, but they want a rebalancing. Well, that's my reading from an outsider's perspective.
