Looks like someone blew the cover on the 2023 Han EV
ranging from 225k RMB to probably over 300k RMB (I can't tell for the 610 km 4WD variant)

A lot of upgrades all around. Likely use E3.0 platform (as one would expect)
The cheaper 610km range version is more expensive than the 2022 610 km version. So to me, it looks like their EV prices are up, but their DM-i prices are coming down.

If it's on E 3.0 then it means a right hand drive version should be able to be developed relatively easily, opening up markets in Japan, Oceania and UK etc.

If it’s using e3.0 platform, would that mean it will be in its 2nd generation and thus look different to the current one?

Not sure if this has been posted but Dongfeng recently broke the record for highest efficiency engine for hybrid vehicles with an efficiency of 45.18%

Rumoured to be used on the new Haohan SUV to be launched this year

Another reason why Dongfeng and Chery should be merged. Dongfeng has good engineering but crappy sales network and marketing especially overseas. Chery has decent ICE engines but can't catch up in PHEVs (only 37% efficiency and overly complex hybrid transmission)

Posting this ridiculous opinion piece so you guys can laugh at the dog whistling stupidity of this author

My favourite quote:
That might be an exaggeration, though China is notorious for rampant theft of intellectual property.

CATL is providing the technology, so what are they stealing?

Apparently Ford’s “technology and competitive strategies”.

As a bonus, he pulls in Huawei, Russia, Ukraine, and gets LFP batteries fundamentally wrong, and apparently thinks LiFePO4 (LFP) is a Chinese acronym...

I can't believe this guy is willing to embarrass himself so publicly.
