I gave the Ohio chem train fiasco some thought and came to the conclusion that it was handled worse than how COVID was handled. With COVID there is reasonable deniability since it is a virus, which is invisible, and many of the infected only suffer from flu like symptoms. Not handling it with proper containment is somewhat understandable. The current crisis is a
literal trainwreck that resulted in an explosion sending highly toxic compounds into a major American water supply but somehow national emergency has not been declared after almost two weeks.
