I'm taking KC.

The rationale is geopolitical.

It times like these, the gods tend to mete out inconsequential justice.

Andy Reid was fired by the Philadelphia organization, more like ran out of town because the fans in Philly at that point blame him for everything, for not winning a Superbowl, and the most successful coach in Eagles history to that point, was canned.

Philly fans are famous for booing Santa Claus.

I don't like Philly fans, although booing Santa Claus is an irresistible touch I find. However, the rest of America, probably hate Philly fans.

Hence, the football gods will probably grant the rest of America their wish, mete out some poetic justice, have Coach Reid beat his old team who fired him, and sticking it to Philly fans at the same time.

The people who boo Santi Claus.

Boo! Boo! Hiss!

I love Eagles Fans. Their villainy is so over the top that it is hard not to like them unless you are on the receiving end of their chucked snowballs or batteries. They are pretty much comic book villains in real life.

I don't doubt you, and much of the national security apparatus, believe that. People don't take kindly to supposed allies committing acts of economic sabotage against them. The damage to America's legitimacy on the world stage is a greater loss than any possible geopolitical benefit. And remember, the apparatus that made this decision has nothing to do with America's rise to power, and everything to do with its decline from power.

Sounds like a pretty good bill, they should really implement it. Rooting out corruption for China, mass capital flight from US, what could go wrong?

Looks like Biden finally understands what win-win cooperation between China and US means.

LMAO this is hilarious. It is literally helping China deter corruption and encouraging capital flight. And not only Chinese and Russians corrupts do this, but also Indian, Viet, Korean, Japanese, Arab, etc. This is literally telling corrupts that they can't count on the w like before.

You assume he meant who would want to change places with Xi, but maybe he meant who could possibly change places with Xi.

Even more interesting is that part about Xi was made up on the spot, it wasn't in his prepared SOTU script.
