Just in case anyone here harbors any self-doubt that it is a weather balloon, why would China send a balloon to spy on another country thousands of miles away when it has a very high likelihood of being intercepted, compared with a satellite? Once its contents proved it to be a spy balloon, China would be put in the dock.

It is different from the border with India where a balloon would be more useful as by lofting at the border, it can see probably over a hundred km into its territory. And it can be easily retrieved.

Now I hope the navy tries not to be ambivalent about its contents to save their politician's and media's faces.

I suppose that's reasonable. What's your explanation for the US sperging about this and insisting it's not a weather balloon?
Someone posted that tweet by hoggamer(?) or/and Arnaud, and I agree with the motive suggested. It's very clear US wants to push and turn up the China aggression/threat/evil narrative. In short, anti china propaganda.

Notice how Western state media usually have china threatens/china slams/china bullies in their headline. The Western audience continually gets indoctrinated that china is aggressive and a threat. Then its how they get conditioned to be prepared for war with China. And it's to be expected and normal cuz china is the bad guy.

Take aus for example, china is our biggest trading partner yet on the daily mainstream local news, we get constant news about aus military preparing to buy weapons to confront China militarily and nobody but few who are astute bats an eyelid. We are preconditioned by now.

This is still a classic.

It's such similar predictive behaviour, i'm convinced there's something in the genetic memory of Indo-European homo sapiens that makes them gullible and susceptible to loquacious BS artists- maybe religious god kings had to use BS to keep order. It's actually very striking to the Galwan incident where indian media made stuff up to suit their paranoid narrative.

In the meantime, American neocons furiously cry that they are the king and no one better touch them.

Ummm...there is no US. in history. It is just a concept bred out of euro colonization of native america barely 200 years ago. It will take less than 24 hours to teraform native america if these things dont keep their mouth shut. RS-28 raining down on native america isn't exactly good for p-rnhub production.

Tennis is pretty much a western sport dominated by American influence, and these political moves show that very clearly
Yes Always been. White Americans and Europeans dominate the higher ups in ATP and WTA. And almost all the tennis legends too. It's also geared towards elite class but that has slowly changed over the years.

The professional sports have a racist and sexist history too, towards black and women players.
