Any more info where this image is from?

I don't have much information, except that this is a screen capture of a video, which I have not been able to locate.

Notice the guy in the back holding up a piece of red paper? That's a telltale sign that these people were giving their Chinese New Years greetings.

There is no "estimated first flight" year for it...

And the fan made image isn't very good to begin with, it's definitely not how I would expect a PLA 6th gen to look.

Stop arguing about it, it's a fan CG, which is as reliable as any other fan CGs (aka not so much), and isn't worth much discussions over it.

I mean it even looks like the planes have caret inlets instead of DSI. Given that 6th gen are expected to be stealth focused as well, it doesn't speak well of the accuracy of these CGIs. I wouldn't take too much from the specific configurations shown in the CGI.

Agreed on both accounts ... the engines are not realistic as are the intakes but overall I won't rate the or over-rate the details, I rate the important message alone is that it's from AVIC!

That thing looks like a hybird of FB-22 and SU-57. Likely PR team made it up by themselves.

AVIC released a video on airflow display used to study airflows of aircrafts on Weibo.

The video showcased an interesting stealthy, tailless aerodynamic model being tested inside the FL-3 wind tunnel, which is similar to 6th-generation fighter designs.
