There are a lot of men with guns in Afghanistan who now have nothing to do, with the nation at peace.

Many of these men spent their lives fighting and enjoyed it. They thus start looking for excuses to find another fight.

We see this in Afghanistan's border clashes with Iran and Pakistan, as well as this hotel attack. Both Iran and Pakistan are strongly Islamic countries that like the Taliban. Yet there are border clashes. Why so? Because those retired soldiers still long to pick up their gun and are looking for any reason to do so.

HONG KONG -- Hong Kong expressed disappointment on Monday over Google's decision to not remove a banned protest song from its top search results and replace it with China's national anthem after weeks of lobbying from officials and legislators.
The city's security minister, Chris Tang, said Google rejected the local government's request to "pin" China's national anthem, "March of the Volunteers," to the top of the search results when looking for "Hong Kong's anthem."

This is serious violation of national security, but I don't think china can ban google in hongkong , outside of china literally everybody uses google, if china ban it then they have to make hongkong enter into great firewall, but problem will start occuring due to business related issues, companies have to use vpn and other services to do business in hongkong, but hongkong is financial city and it may damage their status too which may led to gain of Singapore and even dubai.

Easy to say but consequences can be very unpredictable and even hongkongers might go crazy if they can't able to use Google and western internet.

The best way would be to convince google to do that or they need to hire SEO experts who can bring the Chinese anthem to top searches.

China need to globlize their all of the internet service just like tiktok, otherwise they will remain mercy to western propaganda and you can do everything but algorithm is in the hand of West so you can never win against them when internet is in control of their hand.

I havent used Google search in 10 years, first I used Scroogle and then Startpage and now DuckDuckGo

Just do a dns repointer to Baidu page that mimicks Google UI, those that really want Google can do VPN to it
