I don’t know why they keep targeting the fuel storages. Wouldn’t it be better to just ram the drone into one of the planes on the tarmac.
They are most likely gps guided and the fuel storage is a fixed and known target. Still a missed occasion because a fragmentation payload in the middle of airplanes would be quite effective... even doing it blind, a 200ft far hit could disable an aircraft.

Ukranian nationalist and poster child(she went to the US and channeled her inner Najira before the US Senate) was severly injured after her vehicle struck a mine. She was also the one complaining about how the Shaheds were decimating her unit a few months ago when they started to show up en masse.

Seems one of the bottleneck for increased artillery production is that a lot of the raw materials come from Russia. Makes you wonder how they even expect to carry a war against China as it is, then

I think Strizh's are INS guided and since they are a recon drone, they don't have a HE frag warhead besides whatever the Ukranians might have slung in it, most likely a dumb bomb like the one that crashed in Croatia.

Again, missing the point that these attacks are being done for internet clout and media points to help feed the propaganda war and have limited to no actual battlefield utility. It’s not like the Russians are even using Tu22s in Ukraine to start with.

A big fuel depot fire looks much better on TV than bombers with some holes in them.

Don't know how many left and how many landed on targets. If they shot only one or two and hit something of value, they have pretty good INS navigation or are quite lucky ! Quite a number of these was made but I don't know how many was left in Ukraine.

Sure that these attacks are for PR but if they can repeat the process and hit targets of value, Russia will need to look at asset for blocking them.

Russia is placing newly built equipment in Ukraine.
@solarz
The US has shipped almost none of the equipment they have in storage, they still have a huge backlog of equipment storage. What I heard from a resident who lives close to a NATO warehouse in Europe who got in contact with those who work in that warehouse is that only the surplus left that was about to expire and there is still a lot of equipment to be sent to Ukraine.
@plawolf
The Russians used the Tu-22 in Ukraine on more than one occasion.

The Russians have fired the Kh-22 into Ukraine with the Tu-22M3.

This clearly shows that Russia needs to tighten up security and defense around their airbases close to the border at least.
Back in the Cold War these airbases were not in the line of defense against NATO, that was East Germany, so of course the bases have weak protection but that should not be the case anymore.
