Paralympian claims Canada offered to euthanise her when she asked for a stairlift​

A Paralympic army veteran told stunned lawmakers in Canada when she claimed that a government official had offered to give her euthanisia equipment while fighting to have a wheelchair lift installed in her home.

“I have a letter saying that if you’re so desperate, madam, we can offer you MAID, medical assistance in dying,” Ms Gauthier, 52, told a House of Commons veterans affairs committee, according to the CBC.

If those nabbed are locals, send them for disciplinary classes for patriotic re-education. If those nabbed are foreigners, deport them immediately and permanently ban them from entry into China.

Foreigners shouldn’t get preferential treatment. If they are foreigners and are convicted, they should be made to serve their full sentences and only then deported. No need to ban them. If they want to come back and cause more trouble, well, why should China turn down the free labour? I’m sure there are some cotton fields in Xinjiang that is not economical or suitable to be picked with modern machinery, so they can use these foreign criminals instead.

Football is probably the most competitive sport there is. There are lots of countries where children growing up will have one goal, which is to become a footballer. There are lots of countries that are football mad but perform poorly on the international stage.

Most Olympic sports on the other hand have low rates of participation, and as equipment/facilities access is limited for many people it's much easier to improve your performance at the Olympics by just throwing money at it.

My solution to the Chinese national team is to send @ansy1968 to as many African countries as possible. In 20 years many half Chinese African will be eligible for the Chinese national team....

Problem is not genetics…. African teams, despite Africans being acknowledged as the most athletic people, are not even as good as Japan or South Korea, both which are supposed to be worse athletically… It is issue of management, only Xi himself can solve this problem ….
