Xi's too smiley all the time, really need a good helping of this behaviour to get the message across to the shameless ones like Trudeau that he's not a pushover who always shirks confrontation that they can play their usual cringe tactics on. Otherwise the next day he'll be tweeting out "we denounce the CCP decision to impose the death penalty on nearly 15,000 Uyghurs, which Xi told me himself", etc.
