Russian T-72 tank with a burner mounted behind it. Was this posted before? Anyway, I thought this was a pretty crude but interesting way of messing with the infrared imaging system of Anti-tank missiles.

During the Falklands War, Argentine artillerymen tried to divert British infra-red SONs from their guns by building fires off to the side. It didn't help much in the end.

So lets summarise it.

There was an attack by an USA manufactured and shipped drone, using USA satelites to control it and using the USA drone data for targeting.

What business Ukraine had with this attack ?
Well they were the ones that launched the boats from Odessa. Lol.

But this is what I mean about Russian air force should be shooting down unmanned ISR aircraft near Crimea.

At some point when you're removing a whole level of senior management, it cease being a military problem and became a political one. It's not totally the military's fault that they were made to fight in a war they weren't prepared/given the resources for.
I think this is BS there's another source (The Sun) also claiming this.

I mean it could be true but it has a Hollywood movie feel to it.

After the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, Ukraine lost more than a third of its distribution and generating capacities.

After the drone attack on Sevastopol, Russia has every opportunity to completely close the export of any product from Ukraine by sea.

This is actually a good news for Russia. If a war can help a country to throw out its ineffective generals and create a chance for military generals to test and prove themselves, it would only be a positive thing. So far, the cost to Russia is not that big for what they gained.

This is where the Iranians have more balls than the Russians. If they can, they will do it, as they have been sanctioned since the 70's and don't have any fucks to give and know there is no such thing as a "balanced relationships" with the west.

might not be from the same drone boat? Found a clearer view from that HI Sutton tweet.

It looks like the Russians actually spotted the drone and were in pursuit for quite awhile, judging from the change in daylight. I can't imagine it's that hard to shoot....some weird stuff going on.
I think that was 30mm cannon fire. The boat took several hits and had noticeably slowed down by the end of the video.

It has been a couple of weeks since the rumors that 60K-100K soldiers amassing to attack Kherson. While there has been no shortage of Ukrainian attacks on Kherson, no progress has been made thus far. It is unlikely that Ukraine will be able to take much of Kherson until the 300K Russians are ready for two reasons. First, Kherson did not lack troops, unlike in Kharkiv. Second the weather condition and the wide open plains in the area makes it very unlikely that large formations will be able to get through.

We should speculate on how the Russian offensive will unfold. I think it is unlikely that the Russians will go from the North before securing at least the East of Dnipro. I think Odessa is also unlikely at this juncture, if only that it is less strategic and that they must first conquer other regions West of the Dnipro and approach Odessa from the North. I think depending on how much they think they can bite off, the following are their priorities.

1. Finish the job in Donbass.
2. Mykolaiv (this will secure Kherson)
3. Zaporizhzhia
4. Kryvyi Ryih
5. Dnipro

Conquering Dnipro will allow the Russians to cut off one supply node to the East, but you would first want to take towns that are already continuous to the existing annexed territories.

We won't have to wait long to see how the movie will play. End of Nov. will see the Russian offensive start.

Several ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, including the frigate Admiral Makarov tentatively, have been destroyed - a military correspondent has said.

The information, he said, requires confirmation, but after the night bombings the Russians completely blocked the entrance to Sevastopol Bay.

Interestingly, the Admiral Makarov became the flagship of the Russian Navy after the sinking of the Moskva

Is there any confirmation of that?

No confirmation at all. Rybar only mentioned two ships and a berth with non critical damage. Rybar would mention damage precisely, in fact, in the next paragraph, they mentioned a Ukrainian drone hitting a power substation in Sudza, Kursk region.
