Interest rate is a function of net energy not the other way around.
The Fed reserve exists within the larger entropic thermodyanmic physical reality, thus legislators cannot just with a stroke of the pen wish away inflation try as they might... no matter how hard the printer goes BRRRR it does not more energy makes...
Money at its core, especially modern money, is but energy deposit's future ability to do 'work'; i.e. money is a claim on energy. It is the net energy inputs infused within every economic system and transactions that gives money the bulk or shall I say vast a majority of its purchasing value, for its the work multiplier effect of energy that is responsible for propping up productivity.
Global economy being screwed has nothing to do with interest rates and everything to do with the global peak and global decline in net usable energy (and diminishing EROEI)... its energy that underpins money, not the other way around, money is but a symbolic abstract token that represents resources out there, (or supposed to anyway) so please lets not conflate and confuse the symptom with the underlining root cause. If I sound like broken record is because its worth repeating since its a concept most people still cannot grasp nor wrap their heads around.
More apt analogy is the land of lottery playerz.... every time at the gas station I want to get something I see 5 guys ahead of me buying scratch offs... everyone wants to quick get rich but only a select lucky few end up like Blackburn with a golden ticket.

For all the negative words and actions the west loves to say about China, the amount of restraint that China has into not murdering these silly little bastards is simply monumental but eventually when patience has finally run out and the USA is finally caught off guard, one much wonder what kind of hellish vengeance that China is going to inflict upon the west and quite frankly the sheer depths as to how much anger and rage that China as a collective is holding back and maybe the urge to well pay all of that back with well how many trillions of dollars does the USA owe China and are not capable of ever returning.
