That's a bit of a stretch, if you want to say that it's visiting China and violation of their borders then you could claim that China has allowed millions in Taiwan to break the law for decades now and has done nothing - why should this person be any different?

Just because I've allowed millions in Taiwan means I've no right to have a blacklist of persona non grata?

Taking that whole Castle Defense Doctrine concept a bit further (this is after all a western rule for your western rule based order of society) ... Just because I've invited others onto my property doesn't mean I have to let you visit. I've told you I'm no uncertain terms to bigger off and yet you come climbing over my front gate with your buddies all armed to the teeth ... Western rule based order says stand your ground and shoot those mo-fos yah?
i
This is such a typical example of shitty western logic thinking you can waltz into my home (cos freedom and democracy) and do as you please without my say so?

Buddy, your freedom ends where my rights begin.

I think you have some unrealistic ideas about this war. It's gonna be Korean war scaled, not WW3.
So according to you, war between China and the USA in 2022 is not WW3. Why?

US will be perfectly fine with losing Taiwan. Most American doesn't even know where Taiwan is. If the US can live with betraying the Kurds, leaving Afgan in shame, and staying out of Ukraine, then they can definitely live without Taiwan. That's why this Pelosi visit is crucial. Let's see if they can live without the house speaker

Again, there will be no WW3. No allies are going to join the US because Taiwan is so insignificant. NATO isn't doing any fighting for another European country aka Ukraine, why would you expect them the fight for an island of yellow people half way across the globe?
If the US and its allies could live with China taking Taiwan. Why then the need to provoke an unnecessary war with the US and make things so complicated? Just finish off the English vegetable's regime in Taiwan and be done with it. Conquer Taiwan, mission accomplished. Don't need to care what the US and the West says. Screw them all.

No. US will use this invasion of Taiwan to put more fears into its allies and unite them against China. Did the US lost hegemony over Ukraine? No, the stupid European leaders can't see it and they actually tighten their ties with the US, same for Japan and SK. You need to defeat the US for those people to clearly see how the hegemony ends.
By taking Taiwan, China had broken through the US's First Island Chain containment perimeter. If this is not a significant lost of hard power, i.e. hegemonic power, then what is? The US and its allies can yap about all they like, and even throw sanctions at China. But does it really matter? What economic and hardpower do they have left? If they wanna commit further economic suicide, that is not China's problem. What matters for China is that the Taiwan question is solved once and for all.

China's economy will not emerge unscathed, but by being industrially self-sufficient, China can adapt to this new normal relatively easier than the West. For the West, their winter is gonna be cold without Russian gas. If they proceed to unload similar sanctions on China, let them worry about whether Fisher-Price would still be on their store shelves this coming Xmas. No more lights for their Xmas trees, no more toys on their shelves. What about inflation? Is their current inflation levels not pain enough? Let Pelosi explain to the people of the West, why this is all worth it.

Why bother if a peaceful unification can be achieved?
Then why even bother arguing about going to war with the US?
