Iranians had a net positive opinion toward USA and a net negative opinion toward China? Very strange after they got economy embargo from EU and USA.
This explains why Iranian VIPs keep getting assassinated by Mossad. Iran is full of closet pro-West traitors and pro-Israeli 5th columnists.

The 2022 Summit of the Americas: An embarrassment for Biden

The upcoming gathering in Los Angeles is shaping up to be not a genuine ‘Summit of the Americas’, but a ‘Summit of regional US allies’.
...

The Biden administration says it selects countries based upon the acceptance of political freedom, human rights and democratic values – which is why these three countries are not welcome. Their approaches to human rights and liberal democracy are certainly different from those found in the other countries, and leave much to be desired.

At the same time, many of the invited countries are not paragons of such values – as a quick look at Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch reports on the region would attest. In Colombia, a close US ally, 138 human rights activists were assassinated in 2021. In Mexico this year alone 11 journalists have been murdered. The former president of Honduras, another US ally (despite a questionable re-election), has now been extradited on drugs and weapons charges. In Brazil, Bolsonaro, the self-styled “Trump of the Americas,” has threatened to reject upcoming election results and call upon the military to support him. Yet these countries – and several others with equally dubious track records – are invited to Los Angeles.
...
Mexican President López Obrador, however, has decided not to attend – unless all countries of the Americas can participate. The leaders of Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Honduras, Guatemala, and several Caribbean states have also declared that they won’t go, or else will send lower-profile delegations.

Why would Russia want and need to sell its oil at limited and below market price?

“There’s a whole lot of consideration going on about what can be done to maybe even purchase the oil but at a limited price, so that it has to be sold -- there’d be an overwhelming need for the Russians to sell it and it would be sold for a significantly lower price than the market is generating now,” he said. “There’s a lot going on right now.”

2021 survey by the University of Maryland indicates that Iranians consider China as the most important ally:

Are results by neoliberal think tanks even reliable? I mean, neoliberals and lying, name a more iconic duo.

They even have a negative opinion of Russia’s "Special Action/Invasion" of Ukraine and has a negative overall opinion of Russia which was WTF
Why do you think that Iranians must have a positive opinion of the war?

West worship is a hell of a drug.

This explains why Chinese and Russians have never really trusted the Iranian regime.
I work with one and he's very PRO-WEST/French/America/British worshipping fella. He's a bit naive when it comes to politics and geopolitical realities of his native country. I told him that even if Iran/Persia was under a different political system but it's still largely majority Shite Islam the geopolitical tensions it has with it's mostly Sunni Arab states would still exist and persist and that her enemies would simply come up with a different terminology to be used to demonize Iran. The only way it can escape the realities of geopolitics is to become a fully pledged vassal state of America but then that would essentially create another Iranian revolution.

I also asked my Persian colleague that if the U.S. was so concerned with Iran building a supposed nuclear bomb while his country insist that it's for civilian power (which according to him Iran is indeed suffering from energy-related shortage) then why not asked or even demand for America to build Iran a nuclear facility funded by America this way Israel's concern and nations around Iran would be assured that it's needs is for economic reasons? Instead, America never offer such concessions because it's not really interested in peace in that region. It wants to maintain if not dial up the threat to sell their weapons and maintain their hold, influence in the region.

I also pointed out that if Democracy was an actual thing in Iran then no progress would ever see the light of day because it'll just be endless gridlock due to American and other western countries interference. I asked him if he ever read actual American history and pointed out that American successes was borne out from many factors one of the most important one is political continuity, one party dominating all levers of power and this was achieved when FDR became president after the Great Depression. American political system was under the control of one Party and that's the Democratic Party. FDR packed or tried to pack the Supreme Court, his party controlled both houses of Congress which meant he was able to pass sweeping government reforms and programs like Social Security, banking reform, monetary reform, public works, New Deal. Programs that Republicans and ex-Democrats are fighting to abolish to this day.

Democracy is good for debating and hearing one self talk but it's terrible to be used to run a country in an efficient and effective manner. I mean if the system is super awesome then why are all successful companies not run in the same principle?

Bidenomics. He is going full blown Maduro on his economic policy. Ukraine also used to think they could get Russian gas and not pay for it. See how well that worked out for them.

I'm not sure how much Russia is selling their oil now to India, but I'm pretty sure they're already selling it for way below market value to India and China right now. If Russia is selling it to India for $80 now and the West offers $90, it's still way below market value but they're still going to sell it to the West.
