You're discerning enough to pick up the potential different attitude of Japan regarding all these alleged Chinese human rights issues. But you're probably not terribly familiar with Japan's finessed China policy due to its brutal history with modern China. Japan usually does not align exactly with western nations on human rights because the many crimes it committed against China. It also usually tries to be a bit more cautious when it comes to Taiwan because of its history of grabbing Taiwan from Qing China after the 1894 Sino-Japan War. That's why the US had to apply a lot of pressure on Suga when he visited Washington earlier this year to extract a statement from him mentioning Taiwan Strait.

That said, Japan has been gradually aligning with the US against China, sometimes even more aggressively. So you can not rule out any possibilities these days. Japan is burning its bridges with China.

All China needs to do is just sit back and watch japan fade away into oblivion

The moment that Japan does this, japans days as a nation is numbered. Japan is basically needs to USA for defence but the moment the USA ceases to be a factor, Japan along with Taiwan will finally face the music. Notice that the closer a nation is aligned with the USA, the poorer the future prospects is and will be and the only way to remedy this is if the USA leaves the picture and all those nations kowtow to China or else. After all, any nation that wishes to subject China to the whole 8 nation event once again will find the event happening again, in reverse

Good for Lee. About time someone lectures him. I dont what good that will do though. By the look of things, Morrisons anti-China stance is going to change any time soon. That's what you get when you litually got descendents of criminals running your country. They lie, they steal..... sounds familiar?

Anyway on to this malarkey of a shot show AKA G7. Boris Johnson trying to impress the world of how green and environmental friendly Britain is by holding it in Cornwall Eden project back-fired when he flown over to get there with distant of just over 200 100 miles. Hypocrisy much.

The only difference is that these nations are not as strong as before and this time China can and will fight to the death this time around and also a lot of critical resources for these nations come from China, so.... they most be stupid to assume that history will repeat itself

Lol at P.M. Suga looking so lost amidst his fellow white masters the dude looking so alone and ignored; like the lone Asian kid amongst the company of the more "popular" kids at school. Pathetic fool he thought that he's one of the honorary white member when he's just being used as a token representation for diversity lol..

Build Back Better Initiative

I wonder whose pockets the fund gonna come from?
Exactly right; Anglo led West talks big, relies heavily on propaganda but aint got the stones to back up words with action.

The US is on the road to hyperinflation, desperately needs China's investment- in fact, all the G-7 rely on Chinese trade- and do these wannabe 8 nations alliance hope to force an unequal treaty this time round?

It's ancient history repeating itself.

Back then the Imperial powers believed western law and ways was universal, which the China did not, and they fought over it. China was weak so it lost.

Fast forward 150 years later, the west still believes their laws and ways are universal.

However, some things have changed.
  • China is stronger than anybody in this world in its own neighbourhood.

  • The west is internally fragmented, there is no longer a universal belief in western law and ways inside countries such as America.

  • The rise of the global south, and China's BRI projects, will extend a kind of Chinese influence of doing business and being non-committal on almost everything else, makes China a preferred business partner over the west, drastically weakening western influence worldwide.

The way the current trends are, this cannot be reversed, maybe in a generation or two something new develops.
