Japan didn't want to see a G2 of the US and China. Japan didn't want China to join the G7 and that's how the G20 came about because Japan didn't want China to have the honor to be part of an exclusive anything.

The mentality of Japanese is quite different from that of China. I don't think a lot of people in China would think a membership in G7 is such an honorable thing for China - it's against the fundamental Chinese belief that western nations historically are colonists and imperialists and have done plenty of injustice to the world, especially the third-world countries. China is more comfortable within, say, G20, which is more representative of the world at large and "the international community." Or, China would rather start something new by herself, such as AIIB or SCO. Japan, on the other hand, has the history of 脱亜论(だつあろん or Datsu-A Ron), that is, leaving backward Asia to join the more advanced white-men's club. Here Asia was meant more to be China. But China would never leave Middle Kingdom to become a second-class citizen in a white-men's club.

So our resident womanizer "Equation" has finally been busted. You must know of him as he has been a member of this forum as long as yourself. He must have pledged his love to several hundred women on this forum. The last time he's been away from this forum for so long was when I suggested he date Kim Yo jong, and warned him to be careful as she looked a little firey/crazy and she might burn his house down if he jilted her.

Japan wanted to be G2 since the last fifty years.

G can stand for Gigolo
Lol, sooner or later, Japan won't be part of anything since they have so much debt (I mean compare the ratios between China and Japan and the USA and your eyes may pop at the sheer level of incompetence of the Japanese government, with numbers like that, it is no wonder many people in Japan have no hope for the future), that really, if the USA ends up defaulting on its debt and lose it's world reserve currency status, forget China, Japan is going to be next in line on the chopping block since with no plans on selling the US treasuries, they are going to be in some deep economic shit sooner or later. Japan as it is now has literally no plan or way to confront the change in times

Doubling down on muh uyghur are we?
I wonder how many us vassals are willing to further antogonize China on behalf of washington?
China must strike back hard if they decide to put more sanctions
@bajingan bro its all noises, without the US the remaining 6 members put together is the same sizes as the Chinese economy, so they needed G7 club as a way of projecting influence and frankly they're irrelevant being pushed aside by the G20 which China had a big say and influence. All this geopolitical move shows how desperate the American are, all these western institution had become a messaging board, a promotion gimmick instead of an actual institution and it making them look bad and Irrelevant.
