You need to cite with some directly comparable statistics, not just selective stories about Singapore, which is not even in China.

Also, how the heck are you bragging about high home prices!? All high home prices do is make it unaffordable for middle and lower class people to have a decent place to live. Excessive property values are a negative, not a positive.
Because most people in China or elsewhere in Asia own their own home something like 90%. Home is their main investment vehicle I use Singapore as a comparison most people there own their own home because of CPF(Central providence fund) where they are forced to save and government and employer chip in to match the contribution and using this fund they can buy a home . China copy this scheme plus China is building huge rental housing for low income and there is direct subsidy for poor in China to either renovate their home and in some cases outright grant them housing with nominal payment

I use Singapore just an example but it is Chinese thing all over the world to secure roof over the head and you don't know that? When I live there typical HDB is 100,000 now half million and good private home is 200,000 now 1 million or more

The GameStop story is micro example of the world. It's a bunch of hypocrite elitists that control everything and then when it's turned around on them they want to stop what they've always done to everyone else but they get to keep doing it. They don't want anyone outside doing that. High price housing was a sign of how wealthy a country is but when some country that's not a part of their club of elitists gets wealthy, all of the sudden they point to how something they've been doing is bad for a country. China is upsetting the world order they've established.

If China's stock market is undercapitalized, whose fault is that? China. Having an inefficient stock market where it's hard for companies to raise capital is just a reflection of the immature and poorly organized nature of Chinese markets. Hardly something to boast about.
China has a lot of capital in circulation not stuck into Stonks you capitalist pig :p China produces a lot

This kind of stupidity hurts my eye. On the ignore list you go.
I am relatively new on this site, but I have been tracking economics and geopolitics for a long time. This site really is a gem of mostly level headed and fact and evidence based discussion. Sites of this quality are really rare (I can't think of many other than the saker and moon of alabama) and I kick myself for not having found this site earlier.

However Escobar and Gadgetcool are obvious exceptions. It doesn't take me long to categorise them as trolls with no positive contributions and off to ignore list they go. It surprises me that there are still so many who continue to entertain them and waste their time on them. Even though I have ignored them, the threads are still polluted by replies to their inane posts. It also surprises me that the moderators are so tolerant of them.

That all said, thank you all contributors to making this site such an amazing place.

/Off topic rant.

I wonder what will biden do to meng wangzhou? Will he remove the extradition request? Or continues the current path? Which means also indefinite jail time for two michaels
Not so sure about that. However I don't see Biden topping Trump any time soon.

Trump admin definitely left Biden team with negotiation leverage.

Though I'm not sure if either side is actually willing to negotiate.

You know US stock market is a giant bubble right due to US federal printing trillions and trillions of dollars that's basically rushing into stocks? Look at Tesla, it went up 10X over the course of the pandemic, Elon Musk is the richest man in world history, with Tesla larger than the top 20 automakers combined, even though Tesla has less car sales than ISUZU.
