Where was this fighting spirit by the Armenians when they were fighting the Azeris?

Fighting spirit and values mean nothing under drones bombardments.
Side note: Armenian PM (Pashinyan) rose to the power from some kind of velvet revolution. He then tried to distance himself from Putin and of course be a pro-Western PM. Yet when Azeri attacked, the so-called like-minded and value-sharing nations did not provide real aid, aside from condemnation or drone part embargo by Canada. Ultimately, it was Putin that brokered and guaranteed the peace and provided the peacekeeping force.
This reinforces my belief that jargon like similar value and like-minded nations mean nothing under real geopolitical calculus.
