well he is a naturalized HKer, he is anti-China, because he cares about HK. not sure if he is still interested in things happen in india.

I'm not sure if he is a naturalized Hong Kongers.

Also, I'm not sure you meant this. But this sentence sound so wrong.

"he is anti-China, because he cares about HK"

Well, for instant, I'm not anti-China, because I care about Hong Kong!

See what I mean!

That's why I consider a long China India enmity especially in economic and commerce as an ultra stupid decision for India part, sorry for that. Consider China Japan enmity during 2012 Senkaku crisis. While there were some heat, China Japan trade and commerce keep flowing and growing. Now the economic dependency prevents Japan to antagonize China too harshly. Seems Japan at least learn from Australia China trade contention.
Vietnam also realize this, that's why even though their enmity is deeper and more fundamental there is almost no economic and commerce limitation.
Ultimately I put much more trust in Vietnam compared to India.

China Japan enmity (stuff like boycotting Japanese goods and smashing Japanese cars) wasn't officially condoned by the Chinese government! I can't emphasize this enough. The Indian government is behind the app ban and other restrictions on Chinese investments.

Yea, well, its a temporary feel good move.

Much like their actions against Vodafone, these political actions against foreign investment will only delay the rise of India and detriment it in the long term.

@J20 RTS @localizer @OppositeDay @KIENCHIN @Nobonita Barua @B.I.B. OK, I wasn't going to say anything about taste in women because that's far off topic but since Seige left all your posts alone and doesn't seem to mind a little digression, I'll give my final thoughts on it.

Yes, I'm 100% serious in that post. I grew up in NYC so I've seen plenty of everything and I've never in my life seen an Indian woman whom I felt attracted to. Most of my Asian friends are also in the same boat. For me, their looks are not my preferred style even prior to factoring in any smells or hairiness, etc... I see some members have different tastes from me and that's normal. I particularly like non-hairy, thin yet athletic and toned East Asian women. (And I specifically put athletic in there to specify that she is NOT some bulimic lady with stork legs but one who never cheats her weekly squat days.) Personally, I find South Korean women to be most attractive on average; when I went to Seoul, I was flabbergasted by their dedication to beauty as I saw them take to the streets in high heels, stockings, and miniskirts in the December subzero weather. Korea and especially Korean women lead the fitness industry in Asia as female fitness modelling is far more developed and abundant there than in Japan or China. My ideal date would probably be a South Korean Instagram fitness model (not a body-builder; those are bulky and large while fitness models must be muscular yet show slim overall proportions). But I'm not going to live in Korea and I'm not chasing for that; I want a Chinese wife with Chinese kids in China. That's my dedication and obligation.

Next point is, as my original post stressed, India is full of religious nuts so even if you are attracted to Indian women, you still have to deal with the "Is she from a cult that will behead/acid splash her for talking to me or one that will behead me for talking to her?" ordeal.

Certainly each person will have their own preferences, but I would just like to point out that judging India by what you saw growing up in NYC is like judging China by what you saw growing up in NYC. I think you're about the same age as me, so you should remember that back in the 90's, most overseas Chinese were of the Fujian/Guangdong stock. Chinese from other parts of the country were relatively rare, and you'd only be likely to meet them if you were in the same circles (i.e. kids of overseas students).

I don't know anything about India, but I imagine it's the same dynamic.
