There is no agreed LAC to begin with just like the boarder. If soldier from one side stand on a spot, that spot becomes part of LAC of that side. Tomorrow if soldier from the other side stand on the same spot, it becomes part of LAC of the other side.

A really meaningful line is something that both sides agree upon and marked on maps and exchanged for future reference. So far there is nothing like it. LAC does NOT have any legal meaning in anyway unlike line drawn by a cease-fire agreement or treaty.

The reason that the India side repeatedly use the word LAC is a play to give itself some sort of "legitimacy" that China "violated something".

There is really no point to argue who intrude whom, just talk with fist, stick or gun.

I think everyone is focusing too much on this video. It happened in May and Indians got beat, which was validated when India released the video of them beating a Chinese communications officer.

The real question is why are they releasing this video now? If China intends to deescalate then they wouldn’t have released this on Weibo.

Think this improvised pole arm as a bayonet without the rifle, then you would see the meaning of this weapon. It is the last resort after rock and stick before a shooting fight. On the other hand using bayonet can easily be mistaken for the intention of firing shots. Besides, the blade don't need to be sharpened too much, so the lethality can be controlled. I remember seeing Chinese and Indian soldiers pointing bayonet to each others in some old photos.

If you take a closer look at the picture, it’s all sorts of fishy, with clear signs of pole arms being PS’d in.

It looks to me that this is a heavily doctored image, the original most likely have the PLA soldiers just carrying sticks (there are a few were the positioning of the ends make it hard to PS without leaving more obvious signs, so those were left and can be clearly seen as just sticks without weaponised heads).
