I'm curious if the uniform there is in the same family as the so called Type 17 mentioned in the CDF blog earlier this year:

But we've not really had any good clear pics of what the so called Type 17 may look like yet and I'm terrible at judging uniforms and body armour.

I think so. The captain's insignia is obscured by his radio antenna, but I think there are three stars on it.

Kind of odd to have use a SMG in a border patrol exercise, unless they will travel into tight/urban areas.
