Another serious rail crash in China. This is not good at the best of times, and this is most certainly not the best of times with the recent high speed rail crash.

Thankfully, at least it seems no-one was killed in this crash.

Like all scams stinks, all "Prestige Contractor" stinks too. People found out the most recent THREE rail way accidents in China involves one Sino-US joint venture signal system company, everytime. And the major hazrd caused the accidents always involves signal failure.

Its name is CASCO

They shut the door of the company, they shut down their company internet connection to make some amendment on their company profile, only a few get to take a look of the UNAMENDED company info.

"记者曾于事故发生后第一时间浏览公司官网,当时还未来得及屏蔽的信息显示,2007年11月,卡斯柯、拥有其一半股权的阿尔斯通与上海申通地铁签订了上海轨道交通10号线信号系统采购合同。中国铁通网站披露的信息则显示,卡斯柯获得此合同中2400万欧元的订单。 综合中央人民广播电台、新闻晨报、新闻晚报报道"

Yes, Alstom bought over the share later. See, the exact reason this company can exists at the early years were because the well "connection" of the Sino-US joint venture (in China), and some very first deals made the foundation of CASCO.

One can not ignore the "original connection" when wandering about the accidents.

"How crazy is the Chinese market for smartphone cases? Check out the video below produced by MICGadget, our favorite English-language blog covering the Chinese electronics market.

Apple (AAPL) hasn't unveiled or even named its newest iPhone, but Chinese shops are already selling cases for the iPhone 5 in a wide variety of colors and designs. They all have the same dimensions, however, a fact that MICGadget attributes to a single iPhone 5 prototype that went missing recently from a Foxconn factory in Shenzhen........

iPhone 5 case video below the fold..........."

Police say some demonstrators spilled onto the roadway Saturday night after being told to stay on the pedestrian pathway.

Officers cut the marchers off, plunged into the crowd, and began making arrests as marchers chanted, "Shame! Shame!"

"The protesters were supposed to stay on the pedestrian walkway and some took the roadway and we're now ... making arrests on the Brooklyn Bridge," a police spokesman said.........................................

Islamist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki killed in Yemen
30 September 2011 Last updated at 16:17 GMT

US-born radical Islamist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, a key al-Qaeda leader, has been killed in Yemen, the country's defence ministry said.
[...]
Yemen's defence ministry statement said only that Awlaki had died in Khashef in Jawf province, about 140km (87 miles) east of the capital, Sanaa, "along with some of his companions".
US and Yemeni officials later named one of those as Samir Khan, also a US citizen but of Pakistani origin, who produced an online magazine promoting al-Qaeda's ideology. ...

In a different opertation, a top commander of the Haqqani network was captured in northern Afghanistan along with his deputy.
After Adm Mullen has just called the network a veritable arm of the ISI, putting a lot of new pressure onto Pakistan, that is now also a setback for the potentially most dangerous faction destabilizing Afghanistan.

Thanks for the post. I feel some of them protesters where asking for it by stepping out of line with their callous act (I'm not downing on their messages).

Not exactly a world breaking news, but it dose has impact on its own weight.

China and Tajikistan has made formal hand-over (the treaty has been signed at 2009, I believe) of some then-disputed-now-rectified some 1158 km^2 border land, from Tajikistan to China.

The picture caption by some well-researched Chinese forum member, indicating the Qing dynasty claims, the until today Tajikistan controlled area, the "exists only on my map" ROC claims, the 1949 PRC claims, and the most recent PRC regain-controlled area.

PRC regain control of 1,158km^2 area, lost claims to 27,400km^2 of now-and-then-always-effectively-under-foreign-control area. A trade-off we are too early to make any judge.
