I am sure it will go through import substitution if it has long term viability.
When conflict becomes this long. it turns into experiments with every scenario tested to push a system to maximum capabilities and try to force other side to reveal there hand.
Both Orion and Forpost drone have returned in big way with new enhanced effectiveness. Export success and used by Africa corps.
improvements in Optics/communication sensors/container AESA radar and weopons.
These drones are not as famous as Shahid 136 because they work behind the lines or use stand off weopons not different from attack choppers.
TB-2 simply disappeared and Ukraine not prepared to deal with them.

Crimea is a staging area for Russian Orion UAVs. Why is it important to destroy these drones on the ground?​

The performance characteristics of the Orion UAV are known only for the export version. The dimensions (length, wingspan, and height) are 8 m, 16.3 m, and 3.2 m, respectively. The maximum takeoff weight is 1,000 kg, and the maximum payload/combat load is 200 kg. The Orion's operational range is 250 km, its flight altitude is 7,500 m, and its cruising speed is 120–200 km/h.

The characteristics of the Orion supplied to the Russian army may be better.
"The Orion reconnaissance and attack drone is a rather challenging target for Ukrainian air defense. It can be located 50-100 kilometers from the coastline and at an altitude of 5-6 kilometers. It's a small target, making it difficult to engage at long range," a Crimean military expert, a former Ukrainian officer, and a lieutenant colonel in the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve, told Krym.Realii on condition of anonymity.

The Russian company Neat unveiled the "Hunt" interceptor drone, which boasts increased speed and range, as well as a more sophisticated targeting algorithm. While the drone is currently designed to intercept small fixed-wing UAVs, the capability to engage heavier UAVs is also being explored.
Unlike many interceptors, the drone can also operate at night. The interceptor drone receives target designation from a radar, and once in the target area, it autonomously flies to the enemy drone. Full specifications are in the description accompanying the video. The "Hunt" interceptor drone reaches speeds of up to 290 km/h and a range of up to 40 km. The interceptor's flight altitude is up to 2,000 meters, flight duration is 17 minutes, and payload capacity is up to 300 grams. The interceptor can also be hand-launched.

Published info on the gun ranges of the BMP-3 seems to be all wrong. I tend to see 6.5-7 km for the 100mm gun and 5.5km for the antitank missile.

But here in this old video, the gunner explains and points out a second shell with a range of 8100 meters and ATGMs with a range of 7km.

This design drone is not on website of supercam. for deep strikes. missiles like Zircon can have 1500km range. new Iskander is over 1000km range. these launched from ships or subs.

I have read range as high as 1400km for Orion drone. this not just advance composites but reliability of engines to deal with much longer ranges ,radar power, AI to analyse all the data. and this drones can be launched from roads.

The first high-quality footage of the launch of the new "Lis-2" interceptor drones, which are already in active use by the Russian military, is available. The "Lis-2" interceptor drone was developed by Moscow engineers using a "flying wing" aerodynamic design. The drone is equipped with automatic target acquisition and a thermal imager, and can operate at night. The interceptor drone is controlled by an operator; upon visual detection of a target, it automatically locks on, after which the drone operates autonomously. The drone is typically used in ambush situations, along likely enemy UAV flight paths. The "Lis-2" interceptor drone is currently equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing between 0.5 and 1.0 kilograms. The "Lis-2" drone has a range of up to 15 kilometers, a flight altitude of up to 4,000 meters, and a flight speed of up to 230 kilometers per hour. It can operate autonomously for up to 30 minutes, and is launched from catapults.

implementation of science is moving faster. cruise missiles will become cheaper and much larger UAVs than Orion will enter in greater numbers and they may want some thing faster on moving target. they already built cheaper version of Kh-101 with 800kg warhead and 1500km range.
when sensors and communication improves obviously faster missiles will have more opportunities on time sensitive targets.
Post Ukraine alot of assumption changed. they announce more fighter engines than China/US combined and Russia is only country that fully make Civilian Planes.
this engine production of PS-90 is such they can replace engines instead of doing overhauls and this with increase production of IL-476 and increase use due to Ukraine.
MS21 comfort of wide body while Tu-214 put on long range routes until new version of MS21 created.
The economy seat of Tu-214 is 32inch. they have alot of seats for taller people. engine power standardized on 17.5tons.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will increase the service life of the Tu-214 engine for commercial customers.​

Moscow, July 10. INTERFAX.RU - The Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to increase the service life of the PS-90A engines used on Tu-214 aircraft to make their commercial operation more efficient, Anton Alikhanov, the minister, told reporters on the sidelines of Innoprom-2026.

"We're considering helping our colleagues at UEC, as they say in the aviation industry, 'pump up' the lifespan of the engine installed on the Tu-214. Because the number of cycles currently certified for this engine will require an increase for commercial customers like S7 and other airlines," he said.

"This is necessary to make the aircraft more economically attractive. But until this is done, UEC will
take on the re-engining of the aircraft it supplies," the minister added. Such a mechanism, he added, will be "built into" the economics of the Tu-214 supply deal between

A record for the operating time of the PS-90A family of engines has been set.​

The engine passed the 12,000-hour mark on August 23, 2014. As of July 2014, the maximum operating time of the PS-90A-76 without removal from the wing was 11,633 hours. For the PS-90A engine, this figure reached 11,055 hours, and for the PS-90A1, 3,683 hours.

When it will be cheaper and easier to produce them and acquire them in great number from a Russian source. It could be difficult to do that for sure.

Nah. Russians have the same thought patterns as the Chinese, they will support state enterprises because it means jobs and keeps currency circulating in the economy. It also creates and sharpens domestic engineering and production skills and inevitably can create better engines at a lower cost. This isn't some Western country where cost efficiency is above all other concerns so you want to outsource everything. Whatever they are buying from the Chinese are still in the civilian hobby quality level, and it's going to have a failure rate respective of that expectation.

Though they will continue to use Chinese components in parallel they will battle test their import substitutes and gradually incorporate them in batches until satisfaction is achieved and local production ramps up.

Uses for these engines are not just boosted UMPBs, but also jet Gerans and Banderols. Cheap cruise missiles that straddle the line between cruise missiles and jet drones are going to be the next big thing.
