I'm happy Argentina beat the UK; the UK is OG evil while Argentina's just lost its mind for now. I can't imagine going nuts like that for another country's wins and have no idea why Chinese people even like soccer but I'm pulling for Spain in the next match. Spain is the most clear-minded country in the EU at the moment (though the Irish ain't bad either). I'd be shocked if Trump didn't try his very hardest to cheat against Spain.
I watched a video yesterday in which the creator argued that modern football has turned into a religion.
They beat England, not the UK, and many in Scotland/Wales/NI will have been just as happy as you to see it.
They say that stuff every time China has one of these vids. At this point its just them being in denial and unable to face reality. We already can see robots do a lot of stuff with our own eyes now.
That’s why the Fox News segment on their anchor getting a sausage from a robot is so great — they either have to admit that Fox News is fake or that China is advanced.
