Pretty much the maximum practical AA load for J-10C.
Following up on the HIT-produced 155mm artillery shells shared earlier, here is HIT (Heavy Industries Taxila)'s proposed rendering/concept image of the 155 TMAGS (Truck-Mounted Artillery Gun System).
Never noticed that little air brake by the tail.
There's also a belly point. It was shown, though we can't know if it's actually activated or just proposed.
But J-10 airframe in general doesn't appear to like drag, yes.
It technically can get activated but is very difficult to do since you need to take the upper fuselage apart and replumb the hard point.
My guess is that Gulf States want Pakistan to hold its end of the defense deal and put pressure on Iran from the other side.
I would not be surprised if in the medium term we see Chinese-equipped, Gulf-paid for Pakistani forces replacing the US as the security guarantor of the Gulf states. Pakistan as the only Islamic nuclear power with good relations with both US and China -and Iran- is reasonably well placed in this respect.
The limit defense corporation that exist is mostly training for people n pilots etc.
