Chinese tourist shocked by convenience meal price in LAX. Although it is expected that food is more expensive in airports, this is beyond plain robbery — this is a scandal worthy of the Mango Crypto scam.
LMAO, who the hell even buys food and drink at the airport? Bring your own food, and drink water from fountains instead of buying drinks.
Especially drinks. They have incredibly little substance for how much they cost. Your paying dollars for pennies worth of fruit pulp or syrup. They're the main revenue generator for stores and restaurants. Hell, the containers probably cost more than the liquid they hold.
If you are doing a long layover international flight you may not have the luxury of bringing your own food.
Fair enough. I only ever fly domestic these days.
