ASELSAN has commissioned its “Smart Munitions and Underwater Systems Additional Production and Test Centers”, representing a total investment of USD 40 million and encompassing 17,360 square meters of indoor space. So Block 1 is Bora size but double the range. Block 2 is lengthened Block 1 with 800km range. Block 3 is Block 2 with diffrent guidance system.

So according to an insider, the Güchan is a concept and a continuation of a reverse engineering project of the F110. The reverse engineered F110 uses salvaged engines, spare parts (local and foreign) and locally produced turbine blades.

Güchan builds upon that experience and is shown to be able to produce 42000lbf on paper by using blisk compressors, 3rd gen single crystal materials and a new TBC technology.
