CJ1000A must be expected soon then because I cannot see COMAC risking this expansion without an assured engine supply,View attachment 177681View attachment 177683View attachment 177684
COMAC is seemingly massive expanding production facilities including phase 1 C929 production hall of which the first fuselage should be delivered by the end of 2027.
Allegedly soonest it'll be certified is by Q4 2027 and possibly followed by CXF soon after in 2028 or 2029. Engines is one of the factors in the current slow production of C919 but isn't the only, there are many western suppliers for critical components and most have been rather laggard in delivering. I personally no longer can see C919 being mass produced in originally expected numbers and expect most of the production in the future would shift to CXF as soon as it is certified.CJ1000A must be expected soon then because I cannot see COMAC risking this expansion without an assured engine supply,

are they designing a variant of c919 with similar domestic composition as what you said in c929?Allegedly soonest it'll be certified is by Q4 2027 and possibly followed by CXF soon after in 2028 or 2029. C929 on the other hand seems to have learned the lessons with C919 and apparently uses very few foreign and only for noncritical components like cabin lighting etc. It'll probably use an improved Trent 7K for initial test flights while CJ-2000A should be available very soon after, possibly by 2031 or earlier for certification. Some rumors are also saying C929 may enter commercial service before 2035 by a year or two but probably only the Trent 7K version initially.

They already are doing that with CXF, It's 100 percent domestic so even better than C929.are they designing a variant of c919 with similar domestic composition as what you said in c929?
