If you can put some false container tops on these for them to remain unseen until when you need them it would be awesome. You just drop them aside in water and do the task in hands.
Very interesting! I remember speculation along these lines when these containerized pics first started showing up. Makes one wonder even more, how much of what we are seeing is bluffing/psy-ops, how much is corporate showmanship, and how much is demonstration of real systems? It appears that some of the container-mounted equipment seen on the Zhong Da 79 might just be mock-up models. If the purpose to test out the container rig setup, then it is practical (i.e. cheaper) to hire/rent out smaller vessel such as those of ZHONGDA79.Very interesting! Even more meta, it could be a corporate demonstration of a real capability to conduct psy-ops.![]()
Members of the Military Innovation Team participated in the development of containerized modular weapon systems. Led by Beijing Institute of Technology, and in collaboration with over 70 units including China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Ordnance Industry Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and research institutes under Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the project includes containerized electromagnetic catapult modules, shipborne UAV modules, air defense and anti-missile modules, anti-ship and anti-submarine modules, land attack modules, radar detection modules, self-defense modules, electronic countermeasures modules, underwater warfare modules, and command and control modules. The target annual production capacity is 2,000 sets. This modular, "plug-and-use" rapid deployment capability on large scale on sea-based and land-based platforms represents a disruptive technology with extremely low cost, high production capacity, and wide deployment, providing strong security support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
