This CT was developed by Beijing-based Nanovision Technology with 24 X-ray tubes and 64 detectors arranged circularly. Normal CT scanners have to rotate, but this one is stationary. this is world's first medical Phased Array CT scanner, have already installed at Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai.
This breakthrough system replaces traditional mechanical rotation with a full-ring detector and distributed X-ray source, enabling ultra-high-definition micro-level resolution (3072x3072) while reducing radiation by over 50 percent.
