So millions of dollars wasted to change the name for no reason again.

As soon as Trump surrendered to Iran by signing the MOU, they threw India under the bus.

Blinken position of strength virus has spread to the Euros. Time for the Chinese doctor to eliminate the Euro virus variant

"we can also operate through strength.”

Bruh, so at this simulation the Europeans played the most obvious card - that they didn't have because US already played it - and their Chinese player then also played the most obvious move and it was game over.

You could put me as the Chinese player and I could come up with more creative cards than that. Suppose China approves another batch of dual use goods to Russia like those golf buggies? Suppose China opens up the nascent Qianfan/Guowang for Russians to use with their Geran drones?
Win-win cooperation or zero-sum game that hurts both sides - is the choice really so difficult to make?

Per capita GDP is not the only indicator of well-being of the population of a country.

LMAO - the imbecile thinks that the Iran war can deter China.

China getting creative at playing their cards? That would be the day.

They have never played any equal card since the trade war started out of timidity.

The only real card they have ever played is the RE card and only when Trump got too aggressive to the point of no return.

What happened to the nexperia issue? Again gave up and showed timidity.

This a workaround and surrender rather than a proper response. Proper response was to keep the RE blockade on Nexperia, which China gave up when European car companies begged China. The proper response would have been doing its own nationalization/takeover of a European or dutch company. They should have forced the dutch to give up Nexperia through govt decree. But no, now its languishing in courts that they control.

Every single time China gives up its response in a heartbeat and always compromises.

I recall the trade war was more complex than that:

1. China plays the soy bean ban card
Result: US lowers tariff towards China from 57% to 47%, gave up on the proposed 100% tariff and it costed the US government something like 20 billion in subsidies to keep their farmers afloat

2. China threaten to implement a much stricter version of REE control, including the dreaded "最终用途的穿透式管理" for anything containing so much as 0.1% of China's REE
Result: BIS had to suspend their own Affiliates Rule, eventually leading to US losing the trade war

3. China plays the dual use goods control against Japan
Result: remains to be scene, expected to cause 1.3% to 3.2% decrease in Japan's GDP if controls remain over long term, leading to Japan's de-industrialisation

I grant you Chinese government does have a tendency to do what we call "见好就收", which is less effective against opponents steeped in winnism.

Plz don't move the goal posts just to continue dooming. It gets annoying constantly seeing China eventually doing something and you then going actually they need to do this and that now. No wonder they never do anything since you keep changing it to what you subjectively think is the right action.

Mrs. Kallas' stupidity has already crossed all limits even in the otherwise rather weak-minded EU leadership. So there is loud talk about her dismissal or the abolition of her position. Interestingly, her parents were prominent representatives of the communist party. Yes, it is a fairly widespread phenomenon when most management suddenly improves after a regime coup.
that Angela Merkel studied at Karl Max university which Putin consider ideal counterpart for manage decline of Germany and Europe.

LMFAO look at your concern trolling:
EU: We did an economic wargame and China won. They are extremely well-prepared.
You: No, no they didn't! They're timid; they can't win! I'm so sad and concerned that we're so timid and always give up! Don't you say we're not!

Well.... Trump did set the precedence that the "winner" pays the "loser" hundreds of billions of dollars so... Beijing might hesitate on whether it wants to win or lose against the US LOL

Dutch Nexperia is now dead man walking, which was where they were before Wingtech purchase, except even worse because there's now a much better real Nexperia with 12 inch fab and massive packaging with full access to Chinese auto clients, while the Dutch are stuck with less than where they started, plus now on hook for all liabilty that was pervious on Wingtech.

Wingtech secured their position and can now take their sweet time in the court and watch the Dutch burn, while the Dutch jumped in without a plan and is now on the clock counting down to collapse.

If you haven't noticed European industry as a whole is dying because of China, just because you can't understand second order responses doesn't mean second order responses won't affect you.

Its you guys moving the goal post. Wingtech already controlled Chinese nexperia subsidiary. In fact they controlled ALL of Nexperia since they own it. But now wingtech lost control of its own assets by govt decree and China did not do an equal response.

My disappointment is that China never fights with equal punch, despite getting attacked. Always timid and therefore never gets the surrender. Never gets the decisive win.

Iran just showed how to fight with equal or even greater punch and how to get total surrender from its enemies.

Because of China's timidity, the west is never afraid about attacking China with more sanctions, trade bans, tariffs. They know they will get away with it.
