Interesting that the launch containers are still the same. one would have expected them to be different and a bit narrower/lighter, given that the missile itself has a slimmer footprint. One should be able to keep the same interface on the truck, with slimmer containers still fitting inside the brace with some spacers built into a container.

In that seethrough container mockup it seems the rear fins aren't folded at all. Which is a bit weird, as the fins appear relatively small for a missile of that size. The in flight image of the missile also seems to support the idea the fins were made quite a bit smaller, though it's really too blurry to be sure aboute exact size and presence of hinges.

CCTV reports confirm that the 73rd Group Army's air defense brigade has been equipped with HQ-16F missiles, not just the radar.

CCTV's report included an interesting detail: OPFOR launched JY-260 and other high-subsonic stealth target drones simulating LARSM and NSM, while the HQ-16F's launch range was 50 kilometers.

Whether this was a deliberate simulation or real data from an exercise, the PLA is conveying a message: the US military should not assume that the LARSM's stealth capabilities are sufficient to easily penetrate our air defenses.
