There is no competition. The previous cold war happened because Saudi-US agreement of 1945 that led to liberation of most of Global South and divisions of India. They did not spare even Yugoslavia.Even if the war stops now, Russia will still be locked in a competition with NATO and Europe for years afterwards. And Europe is many times larger in terms of population and productive capacity, and is rearming.
Russia will struggle to match this, so it will be consumed with this competition.

And if China is wealthier and more technologically advanced than the USA or Europe, then Russia should respect that.
Far Eastern mortgages have become even more accessible.

Cinemas in the Caucasus have begun cutting out passionate scenes from films.
Russia core interests are in Asia / Arctic there most of new minerals are located on which Industries of 21st century will be based and export/Imports will happen through Arctic and Far East.Russia's core population, economic and industrial interests are located in European Russia, right next to Europe.
China is too far away to directly threaten or influence European Russia.
So I don't see Russia going against China. The worse case scenario is Russia being neutral between China and Europe.

EU folded against Trump not because they are weak in terms of economics or trade. But because they are mentally enslaved by the anglo empire and are desperate not to anger Trump too much and break the US alliance. The same Eurocucks who folded like a spent wet tissue against Taco Bell Don during the 2025 Liberation Day prelude? Bring it on indeed.
Lithuania and Poland are part of the EU. Why didn't they commit economic suicide instead of whining about China and not actually do it?EU folded against Trump not because they are weak in terms of economics or trade. But because they are mentally enslaved by the anglo empire and are desperate not to anger Trump too much and break the US alliance.
But EU has no such desire to appease China. The opposite is true. EU under its current leadership is extremely anti-China.
They would rather blow up their economy than compromise with China.
So, I dont see EU folding at all. I actually expect China to fold, like they have always done, against the west when it comes to trade issues.
This is what I expect. EU takes extreme anti-China protectionist measures. China does some symbolic retaliation. Then after a few years China reverses those retaliations to "improve" ties. But EU actions remain.
This is how China has operated against the likes of Australia, Canada and so on. Too much pragmatism is a problem
I don’t see why these indians should be complaining, after all, isn’t their entire culture all about accepting your karma and place in life therefore you can never change or do anything about it?
The WSJ Free Expression opinion section seems to publish more and more unhinged content for clicks. I just read one article advocating for boots in Iran and how the incredible full power of the American military will “accelerate the collapse of the Iranian regime”, as if the shitburger of rescuing that pilot and whatever 20 years of Afghanistan occupation was not illustrative enough of “full power”.
