This person, Mentiswave, is a typical market fundamentalist. He downplays China’s early economic achievements and makes a dangerous analogy. He uses the "demons" from
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End as a metaphor for China. This is dangerous because, in the manga, demons are depicted as beings who lack empathy and specialize in deceiving humans.
This represents a typical form of hubris. By using such imagery, he is essentially excluding 1.4 billion people from the human race.
