Man it's so exhausting reading American reporting on the trip. They're all "look at all that ceremonial stuff Trump is getting, that means China respects him, you wouldn't see that if it was Kamala or Biden there".

Republican seeking validation in the eyes of foreigners is very 90s "opening up" phase China. I remember back then whenever China does something on the international stage and get thumbs up by foreigners Chinese news would be talking about it non-stop too.
This is true. If Chinese people were gloating over having a big ceremony receive Xi in the West, I'd be ashamed that they're seeking validation from foreigners. Seem the tide has turned on that one.

"In 2025 alone, North Korea’s shipments of rocket artillery, shells and short-range ballistic missiles to Russia were valued between $7 billion and $13.8 billion, according to the Institute for National Security Strategy, a government-funded research institute in Seoul."

$7 billion in exports is roughly an extra 28% of annual GDP.
$13.8 billion would be an extra 55% of annual GDP.

No wonder there is an economic boom in North Korea.
from where you get this info?. These are exaggerated numbers on military side. Su-57 before mass production price was $35m
Rostec (80% of conventional arms) military revenue is $44b. now remove the exports and the figure will go below $30b. and than Russia is world largest fighter engine manufacturer. so most of revenues will be in Fighter and Helicopters and there is no evidence that majority of drones or ballistic missiles are North Korean made.

UEC: Russia has become a leader in the production of engines for military aircraft.

"We've produced more than anyone else in the world, combined. We've produced more than America, more than China," Grachev said at the "Innovation. Technology. Production" forum.
He clarified that this concerns the production of AL-41, AL-31, and AI-222 engines in 2025.

That has to be from Chinese investment diverted away from US debt into North Korea, Russia doesnt have the surplus money to invest into North Korea and Iran certainly doesn’t either. That
Russia is largest investor in Iran and Russia can make North Korea high income country faster than any one else. This Kim is shown with expensive German and Japanese vehicles. some one is sending message to these colonized countries about there sanctioned tech controlled products.
This video has dogs and horses. Putin is or was a dog person.

There's a New York Times article, I haven't read it, but heard it mentioned on cable news that said Anthropic claims "China" requested to look at Mythos. Liar! And of course they said, "No!" Was it some some Asian guy name Yamamoto from a company they never heard of so they jumped to the conclusion it was China? Or did they just outright lie? This is a tactic of tech bros these days to claim China is interested in their technology to advertise it must be good. There's a tech bros YouTube channel, there are several, where it claims every time it mentions China, their views jumps 80K to say the Chinese look at their channel as a source of good information to steal from. The channel only gets maybe a few hundred views for every video they post. Guess what? Every time they mention China which is basically all of them because China is the main competitor to what this channel's host's military tech company produces, their views jump up... to no change at all. I trolled them on it and of course because there's maybe literally a number of comments that you can count on the fingers of one hand, they responded to my comment and they were relegated to thanking me for watching.

President Trump is really enjoying himself.

He like the military pageantry because that is something from his teenage years.

Yeah, President Trump really did want to go to that 9.3 parade.

He probably thinking it will be Tump and Xi leading the group of leaders out, followed by Putin and Kim, then everyone else. An extra bonus part who be those whining European leaders will not be there and be aghast at that.

Of course, that never happened. Still we know Trump would like that. Him saluting those Chinese troops, that will get those people he does not like, all wound up. Heh!

  • Reason for Enrollment: After Trump was found to be sneaking into Manhattan to acquire knives in the seventh grade, his father, Fred Trump, sent him to the school to "straighten him out" and teach him discipline.
  • Life at NYMA: The school was a strict, military-style institution with uniforms, barracks-style housing, daily inspections, and training with rifles and mortars.
  • Activities & Leadership: Trump was active in sports, including baseball, football, and soccer. He attained the rank of a cadet officer (supply sergeant/battalion training officer), although classmates noted he often avoided strict punishments, possibly due to his father's status.
  • Impact: Trump has stated that the experience was a positive influence that taught him how to handle competition and channeled his energy productively

Saluting the troops just comes too naturally for President Trump. Let the comrade enjoy this moment.
