US also has the ability to create chaos and regime change in many countries without firing a shot. It's systems are deeply embedded in much of the world through CIA, "NGO's" and "charity" organizations. Pretty much anywhere on the globe where democracy exists, exists an interference platform for US.
1. Covered under point 2 here. America's all about foreign interference while China's all about internal power.
2. If America's power projection superiority is eclipsed by China, its currency can then be dismantled since it produces nothing you couldn't get from China at a better price (likely for a better version as well) and can't force nations to take the USD by force anymore. Once that's gone, it's going to have a problem bribing crooked politicians in foreign countries so it'll lose most of its ability at foreign influence as well.
He literally picked up Jensen like an afterthought in Alaska…
There's really no point in Jensen going; he would do better by himself than with that group. Throw in some, "I'm Chinese too; I'm going to tell the orange imbecile something to make him feel better but the future is China and I'm committed to my blood and I'm gonna be sliding big tech to you under the table." That miiiiigggghhhhttt get something done. It goes a lot longer than Trump talking for him; that's for sure.

I remember seeing somewhere before the war even started that Iran was using Chinese boring machines. Can you imagine how much underground infrastructure Iran could possibly have and this news probably confirms it. The US brags about how many bombs they're using but when you think about it, it could be a lot of waste. You're only bombing the ground and the earth is probably the greatest armor around. Just think about the physics. I remember watching a MythBusters episode when they were checking out how deep a bullet will go underwater because of how movies show people diving in the water when they're being shot at. Turns out that no matter the caliber, a projectile can only go as deep as three feet into the water before its not lethal. So think about that with just dirt. The explosive force is mostly driven upwards. That's why you need modified bombs to penetrate the ground. Those increase the size of the bomb but the earth still helps contain the force of the explosive. I'm sure the West will now label boring machines as an existential national security threat and will demand an international control regime to who can use them.

Well we know the answer to that, at the cost of lots of old 152mm shells. Imagine you're one of those people tasked with looking after one of those ammo stockpile left over from days of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il wondering if it was all pointless waste. Then one day starting about 2 years ago the stockpile begins to be moved out by the trainload and you see oil and fertilizer flooding in, new buildings springing up everywhere and people start buying up enough private cars that traffic jam is becoming part of life. That's going to be quite the vindication.
Its much more than military. North Korean workers send huge amount of money back home. higher wage society can benefit other countries.
towards the end of video. Kim Jong Un in newest Mercedes SUV. he used to have all the old German vehicles.

That has to be from Chinese investment diverted away from US debt into North Korea, Russia doesnt have the surplus money to invest into North Korea and Iran certainly doesn’t either. That

I suspect Jensen did do that up until trump 2.0 where he threw his entire lot in with trump, hence why nvidia has been completely banned from China.

The Pentagon is set to announce on Wednesday framework agreements that position it to potentially acquire over 10,000 low-cost, containerized missiles over three years starting in 2027.

A statement seen by Reuters ahead of its ‌release said that the Pentagon's agreements are with Anduril, CoAspire, Leidos, and Zone 5, and will together launch the "Low‑Cost Containerized Munitions (LCCM) program."

The assessment phase of the program will involve purchasing test missiles from all four companies starting in June 2026. The statement did not provide a cost or specify the weapons systems from the four firms, but said the agreements established the terms for future firm-fixed-price production contracts.

The Army has long touted containerized weapons systems as a low-cost, mobile way to deploy missiles in standard shipping containers.

A separate agreement with defense startup Castelion lays out a plan to award a two-year contract for a minimum annual purchase of 500 Blackbeard missiles, which are Castelion's first hypersonic strike weapon, once Castelion achieves testing and validation, the statement said.

It said the Pentagon was seeking authorizations and appropriations to purchase over 12,000 Blackbeard ‌missiles over five years.

Michael Duffey, who as under secretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment is the Pentagon's chief weapons buyer, said in the statement that the agreements show how the U.S. is moving beyond traditional "prime" contractors to expand the industrial base.

The agreements, he added, send "a clear, long-term demand signal to innovative new entrants."

Emil Michael, under secretary of defense for research and engineering, said the agreements commit the firms to on-time, on-cost delivery.

"We will deliver affordable mass for our warfighters at unprecedented speed," Michael said in the statement.

The Pentagon is ramping up its requests from Congress for funding for munitions, which are in high demand with the ongoing war in Iran.

General Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in written testimony this week that the Pentagon's fiscal year 2027 budget would fund over $26 billion for multi-year procurement contracts for critical munitions.

You know that line "every accusation is a confession"? Almost exactly 11 months ago, a Harvard scholar was arguing China could launch surprise attacks against the US using containerized weapons loaded onto civilian cargo ships. Therefore the US had legitimate justification to attack civilian ships of Chinese origin:

That being said, god help the poor grunts who have to use these damn things. Anduril, CoAspire, and Zone 5 are all Silicon Valley tech bro startups. Anduril is a nakedly honest grift, with the Ukrainians repeatedly complaining about how their drones are horribly unreliable. I'm not sure about CoAspire and Zone 5, as everything I've found just says they make cheap weapons "at scale". If anyone has articles from Ukraine about the missiles and drones these two companies have bene sending I'm more than happy to chat about it. Ledios is the only one on the list with any real reputation, having been around since the 1970s and bought out by Lockheed Martin to be a systems integrator.

"In 2025 alone, North Korea’s shipments of rocket artillery, shells and short-range ballistic missiles to Russia were valued between $7 billion and $13.8 billion, according to the Institute for National Security Strategy, a government-funded research institute in Seoul."

$7 billion in exports is roughly an extra 28% of annual GDP.
$13.8 billion would be an extra 55% of annual GDP.

No wonder there is an economic boom in North Korea.

Dismantled or dominated? British pound hasn't been dismantled despite it's power projection eclipsed first by the Soviets and later America. A hundred years later, a lot of bribing is still done in GBP. I don't see the USD being completely dismantled anytime soon. And there are other assets to bribe with - tangible items, real estate, targetted killing of opposition, etc.

Anybody know what this process is called? A type of metal grinding?
