If it comes to that, expect rest of the world to pursue a nuclear program, especially other middleastern countries. In the latter case, they'd pivot towards Pakistan who's already suspected of international nuclear proliferation. Then the US can restart it's propaganda to eliminate Pakistani nukes.Well done except for the nuke. If they're not building the nuke but building conventional missiles only, they're just setting themselves up for an American/Israeli endgame of nuking them as the last resort.
Meanwhile, current US strategy, I'm certain, revolves around forcing the reluctant Arabs into war against Iran. UAE appears to have been convinced. Ironically, UAE is also the one Gulf country that doesn't have a Pakistani ex-general in it's intelligence apparatus.
