How is it you and I keep getting into the same new hobbies?

Ironically I think Trench Crusade setting is a reflection of our time in that back when GWOT was happening I don't think you could make a fictional setting where Christian and Islamic forces are in an (uneasy) alliance against demons, unless the vibe was Lawrence of Arabia ala Avatar.

The 40K to TC pipeline is well-established. Also, just think how baller it would be if the Gnostics were introduced as a third option. Both the forces of Heaven and Hell would HATE the Gnostics.

Any new military combat operations against Iran would be conducted under a new name and operation, a White House official familiar with the discussions said, and from the administration’s point of view this would effectively restart the clock with Congress. Operation Sledgehammer is not the only name under consideration, according to the U.S. officials.

The Pentagon says the cost of the Iran war is $29 billion, a figure that’s higher than the $25 billion price tag it issued to Congress two weeks ago. But according to one war budgeting expert, the conflict will ultimately cost US taxpayers at least $1 trillion.

On Tuesday, a senior Pentagon official said the new cost of the conflict included updated repair and replacement of equipment, along with operational costs.

CNN previously reported that the earlier $25 billion estimate was a lowball figure that did not include the cost of repairing damage to US bases in the Middle East.
