Effectively the west wants all nations to follow the filipino and Latin American model, no different to how south East Asian Muslim Indonesia is subservient to saudis Arabia due to islamic conversion. Seeing and listening to how white males behave in east Asia should provide you with the vision that they wish for China. I was recently at a client meeting where a white English male spoke fondly of how he was able to turn up to work drunk in HK and no one would say anything, and This guy wasn’t even high up, just a normal office worker, and he could only do that because of the white Anglo managers and bosses in leadership. Do you think an Asian colleague could do the same thing?

When (many times) some western media personalities made stereotypical joke or racial slurs in their program and got backfired from Chinese, they always reply "this is just a joke, not insulting". Nobody take that as backing down or apologizing, but rather a further insult. Imagine a person deliberately mocked someone and got changllenged "are you mocking me", the person replies "no sir, absolutely no" with a smile, that is just "gentlemen" extending middle finger. This Chinese Trump is doing exactly what the westerners have been doing. It is called "闪人不见血, 骂人不带脏字", "killing without shedding blood, insulting without dirty words".

When Bessent complained that China was hoarding oil, it was to stir anger at China from countries that were hurting because of the US's war it started with Iran. China was just smart enough to save for emergencies but also it goes back to when they complained before that China wasn't caught in the trap of having to pay more for oil when prices spiked because it had reserves. Then you also have word that when Trump goes to China that he wants China to buy more oil from the US. Why are US allies hurting when there's the US to supply all their energy needs? It's because even for allies even during the Biden Presidency there was no discount in their need because of the Ukraine war. The fact is everything the West claims to be good advice to China is really about undermining China.
In an update, its not going well for this guy. People are starting to look at the details and realize it doesn't add up. She wasn't even his direct boss.
Apparently this is not the first time he has done something like this. He also worked at Morgan Stanley and tried doing the same thing except his boss was male.
Even Joe Rogan and Martin Shkreli had to comment on it given how much the story blew up.

On this observation and argument about Westerners — along with their holier-than-thou, smarter-than-thou culture that seems so innately messianic and menacing — that you made, I wholeheartedly agree.
These traits have been the hallmarks and calling cards of the entire history of Western civilization. From their beloved and heavily romanticized Rome (rather than Greece), precisely because of its expansionist conquests that pushed the empire beyond the Rhine. Not to mention the hedonism and sex-craved depravity that have been — and continue to be — the hallmarks of today’s Western outlook on masculinity (phallic-size obsession), the obsession with claiming superiority on everything, etc. Which is why the West cannot be expected to change its core identity. They are, and will always crave, to enslave and be the master of the universe.
By contrast, Chinese historical records, civilization, and studies (whether done by Western or Chinese historians) hold almost the opposite view on pretty much everything the Western civilization champions. Out of all the great philosophers and teachings that emerged from China, the fact remains that Confucius and his teachings have had the strongest, longest, and most lasting effect on Chinese culture and people — an influence that endures to this day and that even the current CPC doctrine encourages people to nurture!

It's really telling where the PayPal Mafia's priorities are when they'd rather spent a fortune on "China Bad" messaging than simply upgrade US energy infrastructure.
That said, Peter Theil is completely insane so maybe this tracks?
Looks like Pakistan still has a lot of issues related to bureaucracy and corruption with Gwadar Port operations preventing efficiency. Hope it can still be fixed to live up to it's potential.
