Exaggerated for effect but you're right, it's the size of a garage rather than a barn.
Back when Hushkit was still funny, they had a go that Rafale is so stealth that on radar it looks like a set of suspended fuel tanks and weapons with no aircraft attached.
I.e. with oversized weapons, both will be visible - but the Flanker's defensive suit is built (and can be further improved) for situation where it is visible.
J-35 is, of course, a bit of an enigma here, but at least American VLO aircraft are rather underequipped.
That’s an exaggeration. J-15T has taken the same RCS reduction measures as J-16. While not a stealth fighter by any measure, the RCS is no longer the size of a barn.
It's of course hard to tell from pictures, especially since J-16 changed with time, but.
In all likelihood, J-15T is far ahead of J-16 in this aspect. J-16, at least initially, may not have had all that much - key external indicators of RCS treatment (cleansed airframe, paints in key hotspots/all over, treated canopy) aren't visible.

J-15T cants the radar like J-11D whereas J-16 mounts it horizontally. That alone makes up a pretty big slice of the RCS pie.

But of course it is not going to make it competitive against even better optimized 4.5th gen like Rafale or J-10C. It’s more of a remedial measure.

Since J-35 doesn't have side bays like F-22 and J-30 I think it is possible it could carry large diameter bomb on its outermost internal pylon like in F-35.

F-35 can do that because it only has one slightly larger engine. The inlet duct quickly bend into one central tube leaving large volumes on two sides. J-35 does not have that space in the same way as J-20 and F-22 don't.

Besides, J-35 is a primarily air-superiority fighter, F-35 is a fighter bomer, J-35 does not have the requirement as F-35 has, why bother?

There is not much difference betwen J-35 and J-20/F-22 in terms of both mission requirement and fuselage design, if you accept J-20/F-22 not able to have large diameter bomb, then you should accept J-35 not having too.

Do we know/guestimate how many A2A missiles can J-35 carry internally compared to the other 3?

The chief designer of WS-21/19, Huang Weina also made an appearance.

From this frontal perspective it looks like the chin EOIRST/EOTS is a functional article (or no cover over it) -- most of the J-35A images we've had so far have the airframes with mockup stand-ins (or with covers over them) so far.
