for those who don't know, Manus is indeed another one of those traitor companies trying to leave China via Singapore.

China blocks Meta's $2bn acquisition of AI start-up Manus

While Manus is now based in Singapore, it was founded and previously based in China and, as such, has come under the country's regulators.

It was reported in March that Manus' two co-founders had been prevented from leaving the country amid a review of Meta's acquisition.

"The outstanding team at Manus is now deeply integrated into Meta, running, improving and growing the Manus service and will continue to make it available to the millions of people who enjoy it," a Meta spokesperson told the BBC at the time.

Any requirement to unwind the acquisition may, as a result, cause difficulty for Meta.

China should now try to capture the Manus team which is working at Meta, by involving the Interpol?

mihoyo to bring their hq back to china once again.
People have to stop with this. MiHoYo only established a publishing branch in Singapore to help with the internationalization of its content. Its HQ and core operations, including its future theme park, are all still in China. You want to accuse them of being traitors? Take that up with the government officials that constantly award them for their service to Chinese culture.

At least four people were killed when a commuter train and a long-distance train collided at Bekasi station near Jakarta, officials said. The operator’s spokesperson, Karina Amanda, said efforts are focused on evacuating passengers and crew, while the cause of the crash remains unclear. Witnesses reported a major emergency response at the scene, with at least 20 ambulances and rescue teams working to assist victims.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the not too distant future that AI talent are barred from travelling overseas to certain countries. US did something similar with its semiconductor restrictions where any US person can’t work at any Chinese semiconductor company.

AI talent restrictions will be far greater. AI is a game changing technology and a national security issue that countries just won’t allow its own talent, capital, compute, data and companies to fall into the hands of its geopolitical competitors. In the AI field, you already have restrictions on capital, compute and company M&A. Next will be restrictions on talent itself and it will be many critical technology fields (AI, Quantum, semiconductor, rare earths, etc).
I know this sounds evil and would negatively affect a lot of the diaspora here (including myself), but if the Chinese government really wanted to go gloves off, they should start funding white nationalist groups in the US and do whatever they could to foment ethnic conflict in the US. Take a page out of the Russian playbook. The tinder is already about to spark any minute now anyways due to MAGA, Trump and deteriorating material conditions. Since a huge chunk of AI talent in the US are of Chinese descent, they could even attach conditions to the funding to direct white nationalist groups to target Asians to make them feel unsafe and unwelcome and induce Chinese brain drain from the US. Frankly, this is just tit for tat for the American initiatives to push ethnic conflict in China through terrorist and separatist activity.

"One of the most prominent and largest military capture and ambush operations in Yemen's history took place in 2019 as part of Operation Nasr Min Allah in Najran, where three full military brigades—complete with their equipment, gear, personnel, and commanders—were captured: the Al-Fateh Brigade, the Al-Wahda Brigade, and the Al-Faruq Brigade, in addition to a Saudi military platoon.

During the capture operation, Saudi warplanes attempted to target their own affiliated fighters, which caused a state of dismay, demoralization, and psychological collapse among the ranks of the remaining fighters."
These were the Saudi tribal mercenaries.

Are you insulating that you want many of us that live in those nations to become cannon folder for your interpretation of.
what is right and that our families ought to be sent to the chopping block for your satisfaction. How China does things and ultimately succeeds this far is by not sinking to the same level that you believe China should sink in order to succeed. If this forum endorses such cowardly strategies that put us all in danger, then something dark has definately taken hold here and we as a whole would be no better then the cowards we are all facing. Just by playing it smart, China has come out on top of ever single engagement that China has faced with the USA so far from the HK protest, the COVID crisis, the Ukraine war, the Gaza genocide and even the Iran conflict right has China benefiting while the USA has taken loss after loss, honestly why sink to a savage to get ahead now

From Gemini AI

Data Security Law: If a company handles the data of Chinese citizens, the government heavily incentivizes (and sometimes mandates) that the data and the management responsible for it stay within Chinese borders.

Cross-Border Scrutiny: If a Chinese startup tries to "flip" its headquarters to Singapore or the US to avoid Chinese regulations (a process called "red-chipping"), they now face strict oversight from the CSRC (China Securities Regulatory Commission) and national security reviews.
This is really no different from industrial espionage in league with a foreign hostile power. It’s a pity because I use Manus and like all Chinese engineering, it is clean, smooth and efficient. No wonder the ashkenazi and white Anglo facebook and meta wanted to steal this do they could claim white Ashkenazi IQ created what is ostensibly Chinese technology.

Yes it is theft of Chinese AI technology. Guarantee you the Americans were plotting this takeover of Manus the whole time with the Manus founders. Telling them exactly what to do by moving to Singapore and firing all its Chinese workers. The Manus founders should face prison time for engaging in industrial espionage of Chinese technology on behalf of a foreign power. The punishment China dished out to Jack Ma and Ant should happen to Manus founders to send a message to every Chinese tech company to respect Chinese national security interests first. Any company founded on Chinese soil is Chinese. Manus used Chinese local government capital, Chinese data, used all the infrastructure of China to develop and then sneakily cooperated with the enemy to undermine Chinese national interests. There should be hell to pay to deter other traitors.

The following rare earth personnel restrictions should be expanded to other critical technologies like AI, quantum, etc.

From AI:

The "Export of Expertise" Ban (October 2025)

In October 2025, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) significantly expanded its export control list. For the first time, "personnel expertise" was explicitly categorized alongside physical minerals.

The Rule: Chinese nationals are strictly prohibited from providing technical assistance, consulting, or operational expertise to overseas rare earth mining, smelting, or magnet-manufacturing projects.

The Travel Impact: While an expert can technically take a vacation, they cannot travel for work-related purposes to any foreign "rival" project (such as those in Australia, the US, or the EU) without a state license—which is almost never granted for "national security" reasons.

The 2024 Rare Earth Management Regulations

New regulations that took effect on October 1, 2024, established that rare earths are "state-owned assets" and that the knowledge to process them is a state secret.

Criminalization: Under these rules, an expert who moves abroad to work for a competitor can be prosecuted for "leaking state secrets" or "damaging national interests."

The "Golden Handcuffs": By providing massive state subsidies to keep these experts within the "Big Two" state-owned rare earth giants, China has made the personal cost of leaving—legally or physically—prohibitively high.
