Excerpts from a patent application document by Xi'an AC, related to the auxiliary air intake port system for engines. Posted by @一定会对蛙动手 on Weibo.

The auxiliary air intake ports on the B-2, for reference:

Do you have a link to the full document? I'd like to have a look at the diagrams.

From reading the pages I do not see any indications that links this document to H-20. Neither is there any word related to auxiliary intake port.

The paper is to build a simulation environment to study the intake at the engine's low state. Item 3 is a moving cone at the end of the intake. By moving it forward, air flow in section 2 is reduced simulationg lower air flow taken by the engine (low state). In a real aircraft, neither 3 nor 2 would exist. The juncture between section 1 and 2 is the engine interface. There is no secondary (auxiliary) intake port on section 1. In summary this is a test setup to study intake channel design for all top mounted S-duct intake.

Holly crack, according to SIPRI, H-20 achieved initial operational capability in 2025. I don't know...

It's not impossible. We've known it's been in the works for a long, long time. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw it just before Trump's visit, or even extend Trump the same courtesy that he did to Putin when the latter visited Alaska.
As an aside, nominal expenditure as used by SIPRI is basically a complete waste of time when considering the military expenditures of countries that produce their own weapons, like Russia and China. PPP is more accurate but still not the full picture.

Well, if H-20 is a traditional subsonic flying wing — as opposed to a subsonic arrowhead design, for example —then we can’t honestly be looking at WZ-X and GJ-X and not be thinking that the H-20 is progressing and may have very likely flown (assuming no program cancellation). IOC in 2025 is still a big fantasy, but I could easily entertain that’s it’s flown as of late April 2026.
